THE LIMITED WITHDRAWAL. EXTENSION TO BE MADE. (Received a 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, December 18. It is understood that the excision of Clause 4 in the Cattle Embargo Bill >-ai\ed conster.-ation in the I).minimis, whose representatives in London emphatically protested to the British Government that Parliament's action was regarded as a blunder of the first magnitude, as it was impossible to differentiate between the Dominions. The British Government, recognising this viewpoint, has now given an assurance that it will endeavour to rectify the matter early next sesion.— (Reuter.)
