HOUSING RESTRICTIONS. AIT ILLEGAL TAX IMPOSED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) BERLIN", December 18. The Prussian Ministry for the Interior has ordered that all foreigners renting dwellings in Germany without permits : from the Housing Bureaus shall be summarily expelled as undesirables. The Federal labour Ministry has prepared a decree forbidding the entry of foreign workers in order to prevent competition. The Bavarian police are now collecting an illegal tax on foreigners in defiance j of the treaty, by threatening the imprisonment of those refusing to pay.—| (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
