Sir.—-Has it ever occurred to the doctors who propound scheme? lor the health of the children in schools that in their home life in the.-e present days many children are huddled up. live or six in one room, under conditions of living that are awful': Here is the startingpoint for the physician to start his campaign. Give these children and parents a house to live in. and -ee that they are not charged an excessive rent. Poor housing has been the cause of thousands of children being broken (ii health. This can only be remedied by Government eßort. We have seen little of it in the ruling Government of the past. —I am. D. C. MURTON*.
