BLAZE IN CHRISTCHURCH.
BILLIARD TABLE FACTORY, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. A fire to-night completely gutted the billiard table factory of MessTs. Lutjoaann and Co., in Victoria Street. .Extensive damage was done to the printing works of Messrs. Alex. Wilder, Ltd., and the windows in the Salvation Army Citadel were damaged. The flames (had a good hold when discovered, and the brigade had over an hour's task in gaining contTol. In Wildey's premises, the upper portion was charred and a large quantity of printing and stationery was destroyed, while on the lower floor great navoc was wrought by water. Wildey's insurances total £7600, but no details are available to connection with Lutjohann's.
