BRISK BUILDING.

TAKAPUNA MAKING HEADWAY. Building permits issued hy the Takapuna Borough Council in 7J months of the present -financial year represented an estimated expenditure of £115,439. Figures supplied by the Town Clerk (Mr. S. At last Might's meeting further permits were granted representing an expenditure of about £10, 474, making an estimated grand total of very nearly half a million pounds in 11 years. Takapuna, it is stated, runs Mount Albert very close for first place in the erection of new buildings.
