It was recommended that he be committed to the Weraroa Training Farm, as it was necessary to b"reak this trang up. "You are. a very bad character. Lester, and do not deserve any further consideration." said the Magistrate. "Grace, you, too. have earned a very had report from the Probation Officer. You were before the Court in 1!) IS on charges of theft and were placed under tlv Probation Officer for six months. In 1,120 you were again before the Court for theft and anain placed under the supervision of the Probation Officer. Immediately you were discharged from liis care he had numerous complaints which described you as a little blackguard. He saw you himself in Jervois Road otv day and heard your language which he says was most obscene. You were insulting passers-by in the street." Grace was commit tod for a period not exceeding two-years to the Borstal Institute. Inverearsill. for reformative treatment. Lester's committal to Weraroa was deferred until Wednesday, so that his mother could be acquainted of what was proposed to be done with him.
