PARLIAMENT'S WORK.
THE MOST IMPORTANT BILLS. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. During the coming week the Government will present to the House of Representatives its most important series of bills for the session. These include an amendment of the Land and Income Tax Act, containing whatever concession the Finance Minister can give income tax payers. There is also to be a short amendment of the Land Act, and a comprehensive Stamp Duties Act which will consolidate the law on the subject and remove a number of anomalies. There is no intention to make important changes in the incidence of taxation through this measure.
