ONE TREE HILL ROAD BOARD.
-— ■ , A meeting of the One Tree Hill Road Board was held last evening, tbe chairman. Mr. R. O. (lark, presiding. There were also present:—Messrs. F. chapman. H. R. Clayton. G. Mcintosh. C. l'urchas. and T. Howe. Reporting on tbe state of the water supply. Dr \V. G-limour. bacteriologist at the Auckland Hospital, sain the sample was clear and free from odour, ,-in.l n>. chlorine could be detected i-lieiui.-a.lv. In respect of the (raffle by-laws were read. The majority were similar to those in force in the city, hut others had been drafted to suit local conditions.
