BAROMETER RISING AGAIN.

IMPROVEMENT IX THE WEATHER. A considerable rise in the barometer height this morning as compared with yesterday morning was observed at "Albert Park by Mr. F. A. F. Burnett, the official Government observer. Little change, however, was observed in the temperature of the air, though the wind had moderated to a light breeze. Showery weather has prevailed since the beginning of the week, the sun frequently shining brightly in between the showers. Almost an inch of rain has fallen since la?t Saturday, the total now being 1.17 inch for this month. .11 inch of which was recorded for yesterday. Owing to the rain several steamers in port have been delayed in cargo work, but the improvement this morning enabled them to work continuously.
