FREEMAN'S BAY GIRLS' CLUB.
A club has boon formed by Mr. S. 11. I Ferguson, assistant master at Napier Street I school, for the strls of Freeman* Kiiv. The membership has reached one hundred, and the majority of these were formally received last evening as members of the . Young Citizens' League b.v the president, Mr. K. c. Cutten. S.M.. Miss Tizurd representing the Y.W.C.A.. and Mr .1. W. Court, president of the Auckland Sunday School I'nion. addressed tho girls after the core-j inony of Initiation. Mrs. Cutten cougrutu-1 latod the members of the cluh on the step they hail taken as young citizens. |
