CONFIRMED BY THE LEAGUE COUNCIL. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 23. The Council of the League of Nations Unanimously agreed on confirmation of the terms of the French mandate over Syria and the British mandate over Palestine.—(Reuter.)
