PRESENTATION.

The magistrates and members of the staff of the Magistrate's Court met yesterday in Auckland, for the purpose of making a presentation to Mr. J. Terry, until recently clerk of the Court, who had been appointed to the position of Registrar of Ihe Supreme Court at Wellington. On behalf of the magistrates Mr. E. C. Cuttcn, S.M., wished Mr. Terry every success in his appointment, remarking that he Ixdieved be had exceptional qualifications for the post he was taking up. He presented Mr. Terry with an engraved clock and an initialled fountain pen. The recipient suitably replied.
