M.P.. mf>t the Minister of Education and asked that the youths attendins the State schools should be free to choose which code they should play. "All to want is a fair field and no .' restraint on the scholars tf they wisli to ; play our game." said the deputation. Mr. ' Parr replied tnat neither he nor Ills Depart- . ment had issued any ukase banning the .* League game in the schools, and that was • as far as his control of snci a matter went.
