MANCHESTER MEAT MARKET.

MEW ZEALAND GETTING IN (Received 12.30 p.m.)^ LONDON, April 27. The Australian Preee Association representative interviewed Mr. Edwin Jowett, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, who considers Manchester likely to provide an increasing outlet for Australian meat and other products if shipped in vessels actually discharging at Manchester, whose peopU have expended vast sums on canals, docks and cold stores which are magnificently equipped. He therefore strongly advises Australian meat producers to ship direct to Manchester. Already New Zealand is shipping there direct and may obtain commend of the market unless Australia acts quickly.—(A. and N.Z.)
