J The other man is named Ernest WilI liams. 20 years of age. At Newcastle he stowed away on March VI on the Union Co.'s steamer Waikawa. which called at Apia en route to San Francisco. I As the men will not be alfowed to leave the steamer at Auckland without a permit they will return to Suva, leaving Auckland on Saturday, unless they apply to the Minister of Internal Affairs for permission to hind here. Meanwhile they are a source of expense to the company, and it is expected that an attempt will be made to overcome the difficulty.
