OPEN SAILER CAPSIZES.

THREE LADS KBSOUED. While sailing an open 14-foot .boat on Saturday afternoon in the stiff "southwesterly, ■which, made the- water very choppy, three Northeote youths had an unpleasant experience. The little craft was in charge of Eric Dix, ivlio had taken aboard two younger boys, James Bissett and Arthur Brassey. In trying to turn .back into Little Shoal Bay the boat capsized some distance off the Northcote wharf. Noticing the mishap, Messrs. Thos. Boyd, J. A. Hurley an_ A. W. Millar went to their rescue in a dinghy. The lads were clinging to the 'bottom of the Boat in the cold rough, sea, and were thankful to escape with the loss of their clothing. The boat "wus recovered in the evening. The lads were none the worse for their involuntary cold bath.
