ELDERLY "WOMAN ____), KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR. HAMILTON, Friday. Mrs. Sarah Jane Cullen, aged 59 years. who w_s knocked down by a moto cairn Victoria Street last night, died in hospital about an hour latev. Mrs. Cullen, who resided in boundary Road, Olaudelands, was crossing the street, and apparently failed to notice the approach of a. taxi-ear, driven by Thoma. fJhaainon. Mrs. Cullen was knocked down and received severe injuries to the head. _At an inquest opened by Mr. H. A. Young, S.M., this afternoon, formal evidence of identification was taken, and the inquiry was adjourned.
