AT POOR I»AW EXACTIONS. PRICE OF EXTBAVAGASCE. LONDON, -April 7. The results of the elections of Boards of Guardians in the London area indicate a Labour landslide. Labour has lost 50 soate so far. Twenty-one boards now have Municipal Reform majorities, and two boards only have Labour majorities. The losses occurred in -working-class districts, and are the result of recent extravagances in poor law relief, which increased the rates to unprecedented figures.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
