ARRESTED FOB DEBT. AFTERMATH OF IOOTIHG." NEW YORK, April 7. The troubles of General Semenoff, the Siberian "White" leader, since hie arrival in America, seem endless. As coon as he reached New York he was arrested and held to 25,000d0l bail, as & result of a judgment for 500,000d0l obtained in Harbin, China, by the Foreign Trading; Company, whose goods were looted in Siberia. General Semenoff admitted that owing to the disordered conditions in Siberia, anti-Bolshevik and Bolshevik forcee alike looted the property of others.— (A. and N.Z. Gable.) A BOLSHEVIK PLOT. (Received 10.30 *.m.) KEW YORK, April T. Semenoff appeared to answer charges against him. His wife, a relative of the j former Czar, testified that Semenoff was j almost destitute, possessing only 1200 dollars in cash. Semenoff declared that his arrest was the result of a Bolshevist plot.
