KIRKWOOD'S INTENTIONS.
WILL RETURN TO AUSTRALIA.
NEW YORK, March 30.
A representative of the Australian and New Zealand Press Association interviewed J. H. Kirkwood, the Australian golfer, who stated that he would represent Australia in the British championship, and positively asserted that he would return to Australia after the United States championship and subsequent exhibitions. He added that he could not set a definite or approximate date to his return, since the schedule of exhibitions was not completed. o"Hara and Walker defeated Kirkwood and Sarazen in an exhibition match at Pinehurst by 7 up and 6 to play.— (A. and N.Z.
