ELECTORAL DEPARTMENTS.
AUjCKLAXD STAFF OHAXGES. Changes in the Auckland staff of the Electoral Department, which have been made in view of the approaching general .election, are announced by the chief electoral officer, Mr. J. Hislop. Mr. J. (!. Mulholland, postmaster at Ponsonby, is appointed registrar of electors of Auckland West. ' Mr. G. C. Parker, postmaster at the Shortland Street office, who has been registrar for Auckland East, ie now registrar for, Auckland Central, while Mr. P. Evans, registrar of births, marriages and deaths at Auckland, takes ovej- the duties of registrar for Auckland East. Mr. Evane previously acted as registrar for Auckland Central, and his office will still be in the IJovernment Huildings, Customs Street. Mr. Bruce McFarlane. poetmaster at Upper Symonds Street, becomes registrar for Koskill, and Mr. P. (Fulton substitute-registrar for Eden. Messrs. G. C. VV. Morris, H. B. Maesey, and E. D. McLennan, registrars for Grey 'Lynn, Parnell, and Franklin respectively, remain in their present positions. Mr. J. Hay, postmaster &t Devonport and registrar for Waitemata, has been appointed an electoral inspector forjthe Auckland district.
