a WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES. AMYTHAS GALLOPS WELL. - (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI. this day. The weather was fine for training operations this morning. Atnythas. Foo Chow and Martial Dawn ran a mile, tbe former pair being together in front at the finish, running the journey in 1.40 4-5. Amytha» doing it easily, and it was one of tbe best gallops ever registered on the track. Egotism beat Landslide comfortably over the same distance in 1.40. Thespian beat Yolande over half a mile in 40 4-3s. On the plough Crucelle finished ahead of Warrawee over six furlongs, tbe last five taking 1.3. War Loan beat Khartoum over a roHWI. Vagabond, Trespass and Truthful arrived vestenlay. The Hawk Is also here.
