Waimarinu left 'Frisco for Auckland on Sth December; 305 parcel bags for New Zealand. Due here lind January. S.s. Makura left Vancouver for Auckland on 3th December; 133 bags for New Zealand. Due here 30th December. POST OFFICE HOLIDAYS. The following arrangements will l<e observed in the chief post office, Auckland, during the Christmas and New Year holidays:—On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve an afternoon delivery will be made by the postmen, and an over-counter delivery of town letters (registered and ordinary), will be made in the postmen'ts branch between 7 and 8 p.m. Posting boxes wUI be cleared at the usual times, with an additional clearance at G p.m. Boxing Day (December 20) nnd January 2 will be observed as close holidays. Malls usually dispatched on Mondays will be closed on both these days at 4 a.m. On ' Tuesday, December 27, the post office will be opeu in all branches (except the Money Order and Savings Bank) from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The usual dispatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will be made. One complete delivery will be made by the postmen, commencing i nt 7.30 a.m. The night clearance of street letter-boxes will be made on all holidays.
