ATTACKED BY A SHARK.
IN FOUR FEET OF WATER. FATALITY NEAR BRISBANE. (Received 10.30 a.m.l . BRISBANE, this day. A father, with his small child on his back, was fishing in the Brisbane River near New Farm, when he was attacked by a shark in four feet of water. The shark was eventually beaten off, but the boy was lost, and it is not known whether lie was drowned or taken by a shark.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
