Taylor, Blankenburg, and Carter were the only batsmen thstfc showed any confidence against well-handled bowling talent. The fourth wicket went at 100, the sixth at 110, and the eighth at 146. The last wicket put on 29. Ryder, in the earlier stages, bore the brunt of the howling and effectively kept down rune.
