FINAL TEST MATCH.

AFRICANS OUT FOB 180. MAILEY, FOUR FOR 40. CAPETOWN, November 27. The third test match between the Australian and South African cricketers commenced yesterday. The weather was fine and the wicket in excellent condition. The attendance was very large. Armstrong, Oldfield, Taylor, and Hendry were omitted from the Australian team. South Africa won the toss, and Prank and Zuleh opened the batting. They were still together at the luncheon interval, though four bowlers had been tried and the fielding was of the keenest. Frank was dismissed for 21 with the total at 50. Zulch played a good game, occasionally puniahing the bowling. He took 140 minutes to make half a century. After his departure a collapse set in. Taylor, Blankenburg, and Carter were the only batsmen thstfc showed any confidence against well-handled bowling talent. The fourth wicket went at 100, the sixth at 110, and the eighth at 146. The last wicket put on 29. Ryder, in the earlier stages, bore the brunt of the howling and effectively kept down rune. McDonald bowled with great pace, and at one stage sent down four overs for six runs, and captured two wickets. Mailey accounted for three of the last four wickets, tempting the batsmen to hit out. Very smart fielding did the rest. Collins and B&rdsley opened the Australian innings, and they were still at the wickets v.iicn play ceased for the day, the Australians,' score then being 13.
