PERILS OF GOLF.
LONDON, August 24. Six "rffers playing on the Harrow course were struck by lightning simultaneously in a heavy storm. The well-known golfer S. F. Brookes tells the London "Evening News that ■he and three friends were playing a foursoirte, and two other players a single, all within 30 yards. A- vivid flash knocked three senseless and sent another flying on to his hand* and knees. The remaining two were partly dazed, but all recovered.
