The Niew Zealand Loan and MeneantUe Agency Co., Ltd., report that they held a public auction of properties at their land sale rooms, Lower AU>erc Street., yesterday afternoon, on account of Mr. Edward Blsfce. The propertta, offered were farms of 57 acres and OS acres, situated at the Fhit Bush school. East Tainakl. Bidding was -brisk, and- the priec almost reached the reserve in both cases. Negotiations for private sale -were in progress after tbeprtbUc auctkro, and it was probable that the properties would find purchasers. ■Several properties were offered for gtie toy Msasrs. T. Mandeno Jackson at their rooms. Customs Street East, yesterday afternoon. A farm of 78 acres a* Paremorcmo, offered by order at the Supreiee Court st the request of the mortgagee, wae aord for £1400. This property, with « Ironte of G rooms, 4ias one mile frontage to Lneas Creek and another small creek.
