Parr (Minister of Education) will attend the opening- of the Pukekohe Hig-h School on Thursday, when the Minister of Edu•ation may be expected to deal, in an important speech, with the future of technical education. He will spend Friday in Auckland, meeting the University College Council and the Education Board. The Minister will also meet the head 'eachers of Auckland, who are protesting vigorously against regulation 28, which they contend takes away from headmasters the control of their staffe. Thia regulation specifies that infant staffing shall be upon certain specific lines to ensure a strong staff in the primer classes.
