(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Customs revenue collected in

Christchurch during December, 1920, totalled £120,719 compared with £53,947 for December, 1919. The total for the year is £1-248,604, compared with £701,651 for 1919. The vital total statistics for the Christchurch metropolitan area for 1920 show substantial increases in births, marriages and deaths as compared with the figures for 1919. The increase in the •births was 761; there were 2.7 more marriages, and the number of deaths wis 359 in excess of those in 1919.
