The Voting Men's Christian Associai, tion has been attacked in a decree by c the Holy Office asking bishops to watch s organisations Jwhi-ch, "while professing f absolute freedom of thought in s religious matters, instil indifiVrentism s and apostacy to the Catholic religion in c the minds of its adherents." The decree y mentions the V.M.C.A.. -which, it states, - is upheld by many Roman Catholics - who are ignorant of its real nature. 0 The decree declares that it corrups the faith of youths, and recalls the canon f law which forbids papers, periodicals, C and organisations favouring religious 1 rationalism. It requests bishops to n communicate to the Holy See within two months, and a decision will be s taken at regional congresses on the sub- - ject.— (Router.)
