NEW MINERAL BELT.
IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA. j RICH SILVER LODES. (Received 0.30 -i.m.) PERTH, this day. A well-known Kalgoorlie prospector | has returned to Cue, on the Alurcliieon ] goMfield. 540 miles north-east of Perth, ' from the north-west of Uarcoyne, with « remarkable report as to finding a mineral belt containing silver lead ore, gold, copper, white marble, rubies, and' gome unknown minerals 200 ruiks from Cue. The Hilver load sample ia almost pure, and the prospector bays he found three big lodes, lie regards th« marble as the finest belt in Australia, aud the camples exhibited bear out his report. — (A. and N.Z.
