An adjourned meeting in tlie bankrupt es-a/t- of Thomas Dignan, settler, Point Chevalier, was held in the Official Assignee's office yesterday afternoon. The Assignee reported having received an OffeT for the equity in the property known as the Te Rau Road subdivision, as well as an offer for one of the other sections in the estate. These offers were accepted, and the creditors decided that ten other Point Chevalier sections in the estate Ibe submitted to auction not earlier than the third week in September, on the representation of Mr. Jordan (.or the •bankrupt) that the sale at that eeason would foe likely to be more successful than now.
