'■ DAMAGE TOTALS A MILLION. PAVING RLOCKS AFLOAT. (Received 11.30 a.m.) NEW- YORK, August 16. The severest rainstorm every experienced in Toledo, Ohio, fell yesterday. The downpour was so terrific that stretches of street paving floated out and were washed along the roadways, traffic being paralysed. The damage is estimated at five million dollars. — (A. and N.Z.
