AiFTER ROUGH PASSAGE. The wafterfront is once more enlivened by the presence of the dig-nifled 6"ixmasted barquentine, E. R. Sterling, ■which arrived from yesterday afternoon, and berthed at the King's •wharf ehortly after noon to-day. The vessel, which brings a large coaj cargo, reports a bad trip across the Tas-i man Sea. She Jeft (Newcastle on Friday, I June .4, and immediately ran into a! •westerly gale. The vessel relied badly,' and was swept by heavy eeae. A* the night came down, a number of sails were 'blown away, end the mid-ship deckhouse,' ■where the apprentices sleep, was moved 1 out of position. The water found its' ■way into the ea'bin, and did a deal of da.ma.ge. During the storm an appren-i tice had hid arm broken, while the eaxpenter and the mate had their legß injured. I Later, however, the gale abated, end the vessel reached Cape Maria Vani (Dlemun on Friday night. They have ' Eince had to fight their way down the coast, ajid took ten days over the 1 voyage. j
