TRAMS AND THE ROYAL VISIT.

The Railway Commissioner refused to reoeivo a deputation of tramwaymen asking for double pay during the Prince'e visit. There will be a mass meeting of the men on Tuesday to consider the matter.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
MELBOURNE, this day.
The tramwaymen will receive double pay when the Prince arrives, and other increases for tho remaining twelve days. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
