NEW LYNN LOAN PROPOSALS.
A TOTAI* OF £27,775.
The grouping of the various loan proposals recently approved by the New Lynif Town Board"wa'rf'flifther discuseed at a special meeting of the Board held on Monday evening. After a lengthy discussion- it -was decided to make six schemes of the proposals, and they will be submitted to the ratepayers as follow.—
Scheme I. —(Absorb Hetana Hamlet and Portage Road loans, £750; purchase and improvement to Triangle Reserve, £525; Clark Street Reserve, £250; Domain, Seabrook Avenue, £250j total, £1775.
Scheme H.—Soldiers' memorial, £500. Scheme lll.—Storm water drainage, £2*900.
Scheme JV.—Purchase of Town Hall cite and erection of Council Chambers, £2000.
Scheme V.—Purchase ©f Town Hall site, and erection of Town Hall and Board offices (an alternative to Scheme IV.), £5600".
Scheme VT.—'Reticulation of a water supply, estimated, at £15,500.
A poll will be taken as soon as the necessary authority is received from the State Advances Department.
