LAND BALLOT.
NOBTH AUCKLAND SECTIONS. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS. A ballot of land for discharged soldiers was conducted toy the North Auckland Land Board this morning. Of 23 applicants 12 were successful, the sections and the names of the successful applicants being ac follows: — Sections 69, 70, 144b and S.E. 144, Aotea Parish, J. T. Medland; section 49, Hock 5, Hukerenui Survey District, W. J. Darley; section 67, Awitu Parish, C. W. Clark; section 29, 'block 2, Hukerenui 6D., R. J. S. Nelson; section 5, block 8, Kawakawa S.D., A. Halifax; section 7, block 15, Punakitere S.D., W. G. IJoyd; section 6, block 12, Eangaunu SD., J. A. Heldt; section 12, block 12, Rangaunu SJD., E. A. Andrews; section 4, block 1, Te Kuri SJD., D. Ferguson; section 5, block 10, Tutamoe S.D., 0. H. B. Stoney; section 2, 'block 16, Tutamoe SJD., W. S. Massey; and section 211, Waipareira Parish, F. A. Judge.
