CEREMONY IN ROJtE.

ROME, May 24.

The beatification of Oliver Plunkett, an Archbishop of Armagh, who was executed at Tyburn in 1681, was carried out .with impreseive ceremony at St. Peter's. Many Irish, English, American, and Australian' church dignitaries participated in the pageant, including Cardinal Logue, the present Archbishop of Armagh, and Dr. Kelly, Archbishop of Sydney.—(A. and N.Z.
