LONDON, May 24. | The "Daily Express" states'that the success of .General Pilsudski, the Polish commander, has been short-lived. Reports from Lemburg assert that the Russian Soviet army recaptured Kieff after a six hours' bombardment and heavy fighting. Poland threatens to make war on Czecho-Slovakia. There is a danger that if war commences Hungary will intervene to crush Slovakia and establish a com-' mon frontier with Poland.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
