AVONDALE ROAD BOARD.
The fortnightly meeting of the Avondaie Road Board was held on Wednesday evening, Mr. G. F. Hosting (chairman) presiding.
Ibe plans of proposed road work in Great North Itoad In connection with new bridge over Whau Creek were received from Waltemata County Council and approved. It was decided to forward a request to the Public Works Department for subsidies in connection with work to be done on park Avenue aud Willow Avenue. Account- amounting to £270 were passed for payment. A large amount of work on the footpaths of the district was authorised to be carried out.
