his condition: sekious. Thomas Ormiston, a farmer, 67 years of age, and residing at East Tamaki, -was admitted to the Auckland Hospital at an early hour tha morning with hi= throat cut. He was able to walk when brought in by the OtaJiuhu police, bat his condition has since became serious. Ormiston, it appears from inquiries made, has been unable to sleep, at night for some time past.
