STEAMER INGA DAMAGED.
• —— A MYSTERIOUS IMTACT. • (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The steamer Inga, owner by R. S. Lamb and Co., Sydney, which left Newcastle for Wanganui on April 23, struck some obstacle when about 50 miles off Wanganui at 3.40 a.m. yesterday. As she was found to be leaking, Captain Bull headed for Wellington, arriving here this morning. The extent of tho" damage ~s not yet known. She has 1000 tons of coal for the Wanganui gas works, and 5» also carrying 100 tons of 3'ardwood.
