TURKISH WAR PRISONERS.

NO TRACE OF THE MISSING. LONDON, April 29. Mr. Winston Churchill, Secretary of State for War, answering questions in the House of Commons, said that the British Military Mission at Iterlin reported that only 222 prisoners in Germany had not been accounted for at the time the mission's inquiry closed. No similar body was searching for records of the death of British prisoners in Turkey. A list of prisoners not accounted for had been presented to the Turkish Government, and statements referring to a few men had been received. These were of small value, and it is feared that the Turkish records arc so imperfect that there is practically no chance of obtaining further information.— (Imperial News, P.A.)
