Tegetmeir, Chairman of Directors of the Auckland Sectric Tramways Company, left for Weffingtaa by last evening's express. The Hon. J. G. W. Aieken, MXjC, nasi received information of the death of hie i younger brother, the Rev. Aieken, at Edinburgh, aged 67 years. J Mr. A. r>. Park, chief derk, Public Works Department at Auckland for four, years, has been appointed an inspector on the staff of the Public Service Commissioner. Sergeant 51. Lieut.-Colonel J. L. Kleeman, OREL, ■M_4., LG.S-, Director of Military Training, has been appointed to represent the Belfast University at the Jubilee celebrations of the Otago Universiiy, comxnencing on February 3rd. The Rev. Father Hurley, of St. Joseph's Parish, is leaving Wellingbej J for Timarn, and is being succeeded by J the Rev.
