NO GOVERNMENT CONTROL. LONDON, January 22. At the quarterly meeting of the Association of British Chambers of Commerce it was announced that the Congress of Chambers of Commerce of the Empire, postponed from 1915, was to meet at Toronto on September 7. The motion demanding the withdrawal of all Government control was carried unanimously, and also a resolution urging the Government to take steps without delay to advance, by every means in its power cotton-growing within the Empire.'
