FRANKLIN ELECTORATE.
Mr. J. Bea. Liberal candidate for Franklin, lias been putting in good ■work in this electorate in the past week, addressing meetings at Pukekobe. WaiuJcu, Waipipi and Bombay, everywhere getting good meetings and attentive hearings. Speaking: at Waiuku and Pukekohe, the candidate referred particularly to tie conspicuous abeence in Mr. Mae- \ eey's speeches of any kind of constructive policy, and remarked that these epeeehes invariably took the form of j three items: 1. What Mr. Massey did at I the Peace Conference. 2. What Xew | Zealand did during the war. 3. What the | Bolsheviks are going to do in New Zealand it the Liberal party get a majority. At every meeting votes of thanks to Mrs. Rea for his addresses were carried- Pukckohe also including a vote of confidence in Mr. Rea as a suitable representative for Parliamentary honours.
