- (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. i A meeting of the River Navigation : Committee of the Chamber of Commerce was addressed by Mr. Bond, a member of the Auckland Harbour Board, who advocated formation of a Waikato H*ver Harbour Board, in order to develop the port and river service. H e said that at present it was impossible to impress the Government, owing to there being r.o -properly constituted body governing the port of Waikato, and the Waikato" and Waipa rivers. They should draft a bill and tkcii consult local bodies and the people. A motion to this effect was carried. _ Mr. C. _ I. Brown, local engineer to the Kirikiriroa Road Board, met with a cycle accident on the Hamilton-Ngarua-walna road near Horotiu last evenm<. , He collided with a mob of cattle, and ' as the result of a fall, was rendered unconscious for a time. He also sustained a cut on one shoulder.
