The North American Reindeer Company, capitalised at 75,000 dollars, has been granted a Canadian charter, which permits it to graze reindeer on an area of 7.*).000 miles north of the Churchill River. Tt will jjraze n herd of 1.'i.000. which will be self-sustaining. The movement was designed for the purpose of increasing the world's meat supply.— (A and N.Z. Cable.) - "
