In regard to complaint? that though the market is over-glutted with stock from drought areas, the price of meat remains very high. It is explained that this class of stock is unsuited to the city demand. The canning companies arc reaping the benefit, and are able to purchase mutton as low as 2id a pound — (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
