CORNISH MINE DISASTER.

XJEATH ROLL OF NINETEEN. ELEVEN STILL MISSING. (Received 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, October 23, - Nineteen bodies have been recovered from the Levant tin mine, in Cornwall, as a result of the fall of the cage down the shaft on Tuesday. Eleven men are still missing, and there is little likelihood of any being found alive. Rescuers working continuously have unsuccessfully endeavoured to reach the lower workings, where occasional groans are heard.— (A. and N.Z.)
